Tapping Solution Foundation

“Once your negative emotions, beliefs, and experiences have been processed and released, you’re free to feel and be positive again.”

― Nick Ortner

by Anne-Marie Wiesman

The Tapping Solution Foundation was started by Nick Ortner, Nick is CEO of The Tapping Solution, a company with a mission to bring into the mainstream a simple, effective, natural healing method known as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) or “Tapping.” Tapping is a healing modality that combines ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology. Nick’s goal is to empower people to create healthy, abundant and stress-free lives through his books, films, CDs, online events and speaking engagements attended by participants from all over the world.

The Tapping Solution Foundation began as a nonprofit to support healing projects around the world which utilize the use of EFT Tapping. The Tapping Solution partnered with Dr. Lori Leyden the Creator of Project Light Rwanda and Founder of Create Global Healing after the Sandy Hook school shooting Tragedy in Newtown Ct.

Create Global Healing partnership with The Tapping Solution Foundation On December 14, 2012 one of the worst school shootings took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT.  Nick Ortner just happened to be a Newtown resident. Within days, Dr. Leyden was on the ground heading up Mr. Ortner’s Foundation and establishing a community-based trauma healing model serving those affected by the tragedy.

Just two months later, Project LIGHT: Rwanda Ambassadors were reaching out to a 12-year-old boy who had lost his brother in the shooting. Our documentary tells the story of what is possible when our traumatized young people in the world are able to connect and heal.

The Tapping Solution Foundation supports Dr. Leyden’s work in Rwanda, helping genocide survivors through the use of Tapping.

The trauma relief work in Newtown was led by Dr. Lori Leyden, the head of the Foundation. The work they were able to accomplish with the survivors was profound, extremely well received, and effective. Some of the survivors have visited the Rwanda Genocide survivors in Africa in recent years.

The first time I had heard of Nick Ortner was when I read his book, The Tapping Solution: A Revolutionary System For Stress-Free Living. After experiences the amazing healing effects and recovery of PTSD through the use of EFT Tapping myself, I became certified and later was able to do a four-part series for The Tapping Solutions Insiders club on overcoming abuse. I had heard about Nick’s work with The Tapping Solution Foundation immediately following the school shooting tragedy, and I learned more about the foundation’s inspiring work later when my husband and Co-Founder began working with Dr. Lori Leyden at Create Global Healing.Nick has inspired us and inspired thousands of others through his work at The Tapping Solution and The Tapping Solution Foundation.
